Critical Care Veterinarian - Bellevue, WA
A veterinary specialty practice is seeking a Critical Care Veterinarian to join its collaborative clinical team. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about critical care medicine, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care while working alongside a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage critically ill and hospitalized patients.
Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans for emergency and critical care cases.
Perform advanced medical procedures and monitor patient progress.
Collaborate with specialists, emergency clinicians, and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
Communicate treatment recommendations, prognoses, and care plans with clients and referring veterinarians.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Participate in case discussions, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Uphold the highest standards of medical quality, patient safety, and client service.
Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
Board certification or board eligibility in Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care.
Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
