Are you a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Maryland might be the perfect fit for you!
Opportunity Highlights
Schedule: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (8-hr) / 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (10-hr) / 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (12-hr); Ongoing assignment; No overtime expected
Job Setting: Hospital
Types of Cases: General Anesthesia; MDs supervising CRNAs (4:1 CRNA to MD ratio); MDs not performing their own cases
Responsibilities: Pre-anesthesia assessment; Obtaining and/or verifying patient consent; Discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient; Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia; Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition; Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Credentialing: Estimated privileging timeframe: 30 days
Minimum Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certification Required
Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists; Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse; Willing to accept candidates who need to obtain state license
