JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Specialty: CRNA - General Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Pittsfield, MA Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Aug 01, 2026 Ongoing Shift Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts (guaranteed 32 hrs/week) Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Travel and Lodging Covered (reimbursed); Malpractice Insurance Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 3-5 Main OR, 12-15 Endo cases per day Case Mix: General Adult, General Pediatric, Obstetrics, Neurosurgery FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: Level III EMR System: Meditech Expanse PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 90 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES General Surgical Cases ADULT General Surgical Cases PEDIATRIC IV Regional Anesthesia Spinal Anesthesia Epidural Anesthesia Regional Anesthesia Obstetrical Cases Neurosurgical Cases JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified (AANA) Licenses: Active MA License or willingness to obtain Certifications: ACLS, BLS Experience: Minimum 2 years experience preferred; new grads accepted Other Qualifications: Self-Query NPDB report required at presentation Duties & Responsibilities Administer anesthesia for adult and pediatric general surgical cases Perform regional, spinal, and epidural anesthesia Provide anesthesia for obstetrical and neurosurgical cases Collaborate with surgical team in a supervised practice model Manage anesthesia in main OR and endoscopy settings
