JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Specialty: CRNA - General Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Eureka, CA 95501 Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Oct 01, 2025 Ongoing Shift Schedule: Monday Friday, 7a 4p Reason for Coverage: Scheduling Need Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Vendor SPECIFIC SHIFTS TO FILL Nov 23 Nov 27 (no coverage on Nov 26) Nov 30 Dec 04 Dec 07 Dec 11 Dec 14 Dec 18 Dec 21 Dec 24 PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 8 patients/day FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Support Staff: RNs: 12, Office Staff: 6 PRIVILEGES & COMPlIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required: General Anesthesia Adult Pediatric Ventilation management Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues Preferred: Neonatal Trauma Spinal Anesthesia Epidural Anesthesia Regional Anesthesia Surgery Obstetrical Cases Neurosurgical cases Head Spine Open Heart Anesthesia Thoracic cases (except open heart) Complex vascular cases (except open heart) Complex orthopedic cases Pain management techniques Post-op epidural Post-op extremity blocks Epidural steroid for Lumbar Epidural steroid for Cervical Transforaminal Lumbar Cervical Use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks Central Line placement Arterial Line placement PA Catheter placement CRNA supervision JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Eligible required Licenses: Licensed in CA DEA: Yes Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Other Qualifications: Must have a clean file with no large settlements, DUIs/drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or medical board actions; must provide RFA, CV, and 24 months of relevant activity; references on standby. Duties & Resonsibilities Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care Perform pre-anesthetic assessnent and evaluation Manage patient airway and ventilation Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
