Job description
The position involves functioning as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) providing anesthesia care in a hospital setting. The role requires collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other medical professionals to deliver safe and effective anesthesia for various medical and surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care and document all care activities
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to anesthesia services
Complete pre-anesthesia patient records, review laboratory data, and initiate anesthesia induction as appropriate
Maintain safety standards, working in a constant state of alertness
Qualifications & Skills
Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant role
Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing
This role involves providing specialized anesthesia services, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to legal and professional standards. It offers a competitive hourly rate for PRN work, with additional compensation for weekend shifts.
