We're seeking a detail-oriented and driven Crop Insurance Processor to support the processing and administrative tasks related to crop insurance policies. Together, we empower farm families to achieve their goals and control their future.As the Crop Insurance Processor, you'll:Process and review crop insurance applications, endorsements, and claims for accuracy and compliance.Verify crop data, production reports, and other documentation to ensure regulatory adherence.Prepare and submit claims in compliance with federal and state regulations.Investigate and resolve discrepancies with Insurance Risk Advisors and clients.Enter data into systems, organize documents, and monitor workflows to ensure timely policy processing.Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and supporting both internal teams and external clients.What We're Looking For:3-5 years' experience in insurance processing, underwriting, or customer service.High School diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred).Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn database/CRM software.Knowledge of crop insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations is highly desirable.Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to maintain confidentiality.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Why You'll Love Working at UnCommon Farms:Flexibility: This role offers a hybrid schedule with 2 days in the Brighton, IL office, with fully remote work considered based on location.Comprehensive Coverage: Medical, dental, vision, and more.Peace of Mind: Company-provided long-term disability, life, and AD&D insurance.Financial Growth: 401(k) with a 50% company match.Time to Recharge: Start with 3 weeks of paid vacation, 1 week of paid sick time, and 11 company-paid holidays.Casual & Comfortable: A relaxed dress code so you can focus on what matters.Invest in Your Future: Tuition assistance to help you achieve your goals.Competitive Compensation That Rewards Your Expertise At UnCommon Farms, we recognize and value the skills and experience you bring to the table.
