Crossing GuardMultipleDanville Community School Corporation Police DepartmentQualificationsEducation/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience: Will train selected candidate.Working Conditions: Outdoors under all weather conditions.Performance Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following)Child SafetyAssist school children across street before and after school.Be alert to road hazards.Be at designated corner before school begins and dismissesMaintain presence at designated corner until all children have crossed after schoolPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods of time.Ability to see within normal parameters.Ability to hear within normal range.Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s).Approximately 1 hour per day (30 minutes AM / 30 minutes PM), Monday through Friday$30 per day.
