Crossing GuardLocation: East Hollis / Chase StreetsReports To: Plant OperationsWork Year: School Year Starting Date: ASAPSalary: $18.88 Per HourPrincipal Duties:This is a part-time position working 1-3 hours per day.Crossing Guards shall be responsible for the safe movement of school children across city roadways; traffic control at designated crosswalk; safe movement of school children across travelled portions of city roadways at designated crosswalks; performing all duties at designated post at designated times; reporting and recording any unusual activity in the area of such designated post; reporting and recording any child's injury while on duty; reporting and correcting unsafe conduct of the children while on duty; performing other such duties as designated by the Assistant Director of Plant Operations.The Nashua Board of Education reaffirms its position of compliance with applicable State and Federal laws of nondiscrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, marital status, familial status, genetic information and age in admission to, access to, treatment in or employment in the services, programs and activities of the Nashua School District.
