APPLICATIONS THAT ARE INCOMPLETE OR INDICATE 'SEE RESUME' WILL NOT BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION.The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is seeking professional, dedicated applicants for part-time Crossing Guard positions.Crossing Guards are tasked with:Providing protective services to children at duty post. Directs and escorts children in accordance with the Crossing Guard Standards of Procedure.Maintains and wears complete crossing guard uniform on duty; utilizes safety equipment in accordance with policies and procedures.Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; must be at least age 18; six (6) months of related work experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must pass annual physical exams.Selection process includes review of the Applicant Screening Questionnaire and County application; a background investigation to include fingerprinting, criminal record, driving record, physical examination, and an in-person interview.Loudoun County Government prides itself on fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace that promotes employee wellness and work-life balance.
