Chandler Unified School District Names Best School District in AZ 2026Employment Type: Part-timeEntry Salary: $ 16.53Calendar: 1801 PT July 15, 2026-May 20, total work days, 6 paid holidays, 186 total paid daysBenefits: 72 hours PTO per year, 6 paid holidaysPerformance Pay: Available annually for eligible positions. Prorated based on FTE and employment start date.New Hire Experience: 1% for two or more years of full time like experience and an additional 1% per year not to exceed the maximum hiring range of 5%.New Hire Education: 1% of hourly rate for a college degree in a similar field, combined with work experience credit not to exceed the maximum hiring range of 5%.CHANDLER UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT JOB DESCRIPTIONCLASSIFICATION: SUPPORT STAFFJOB TITLE: CROSSING GUARDCALENDAR: 1901FT OR 1801PT (9 MONTH)SALARY: GRADE 103 (SUPPORT HOURLY)**Note: This position can be combined with additional part-time opportunities not to exceed 8.0 hours/day**Job Goal:Assist students safely through intersections and monitor vehicle trafficMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredFirst aid training desiredAbility to work cooperatively with parents, students, staff, and the general publicKnowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations, and rulesVision and hearing are adequate to exercise job responsibilities in a safe mannerCore Job Functions:Place traffic signs where requiredUtilize proper procedure, walking students through the crosswalkEnsure students' safety by ensuring students walk within the crosswalk linesReport violators of the 15 MPH zone, both pedestrians and vehiclesPerform related duties as requestedPerform all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directedPerform other duties assigned that support the overall objective of the positionCore Values:Excellence in all we do.
