In partnership with families and our community, the district's mission is to promote confidence, inspire a passion for learning, and to prepare students to become responsible global citizens.Requirements:Must meet NYSED fingerprinting requirementsMust meet civil service requirementsValid driver's license requiredMinimum of 2 years experience in fields and grounds maintenanceAdditional Job Requirements/Duties:Knowledge of the accepted procedures and practices of grounds maintenance workAbility to operate a truck and other light automotive equipment when requiredAbility to follow oral and written directionsAbility to perform routine manual workMaintains and prepares facilities and equipment for each seasonPhysical condition commensurate with the demands of the positionMaintains grounds and facilities including but not limited to lawns, walkways and driveways, snow and trash removalAbility to plan the work for the grounds crewAbility to organize and plan for snow removalAbility to lay out fields for seasonal sports and get them ready for gamesAbility to perform other tasks assigned by the supervisorEffective: ImmediatelyHours: 6:00AM - 2:30PM
