CT Technologist 2 Openings Location: ZIP CODE 22601
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Compensation: $33.64 $50.46/hour
We are seeking CT Technologists for two permanent, full-time opportunities with an established acute-care healthcare organization in Winchester, Virginia .
The CT Technologist performs computed tomography, general radiology, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging procedures for patients of all ages. This is an excellent opportunity for an imaging professional looking to join a busy hospital-based radiology department.
Responsibilities Perform high-quality CT examinations according to established imaging protocols.
Use appropriate imaging techniques and parameters to obtain diagnostic-quality studies.
Perform CT, general radiology, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging procedures.
Provide imaging services to patients across the lifespan, from neonatal through geriatric populations.
Review and assemble necessary clinical information and documentation for physician interpretation.
Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
Assist with patient transportation when necessary.
Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
Participate in continuing education to maintain and expand clinical knowledge and imaging skills.
Assist with the clinical education of radiography students as appropriate.
Communicate departmental productivity, quality, or performance concerns to leadership.
Qualifications Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
ARRT (R) registration required
ARRT (CT) certification required within 2 years of hire
One year of experience as a staff Radiologic Technologist preferred
One year of clinical CT experience or a dedicated CT clinical rotation in a hospital setting preferred
Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures, positioning, anatomy, and radiation safety
Excellent patient-care and communication skills
Schedule Permanent, full-time
Position may require rotating weekends and shifts, holidays, overtime, and on-call coverage as needed to support 24/7 imaging services.
Compensation $33.64 $50.46 per hour
