Job description
Job Title: CT Technologist 2
Join us at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System as a CT Technologist 2 . We are seeking a qualified professional to perform all CT procedures, produce radiographs of designated anatomical areas as ordered, and adhere to established practices and procedures. Reports to the Supervisor or Manager.
Responsibilities
Follow departmental policies, procedures, quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
Prepare documentation such as evaluation results, treatment plans, and progress reports.
Perform CT scan procedures, obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address concerns.
Transport patients, prepare the CT room, select and operate equipment, and assist physicians as needed.
Schedule cases, perform venipuncture, request supplies, and maintain equipment.
Participate in educational programs and perform POC Creatinine testing, including blood draws and machine maintenance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience in radiology and CT procedures preferred; thorough knowledge of radiologic and CT terminology, practices, and anatomy.
Associate's degree or radiologic technology program graduate preferred.
Ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on their conditions and procedures.
Current State License, ARRT certification or eligibility, and BLS-HCP certification.
