A leading outpatient cancer care facility is seeking an experienced, independent CT Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Brandon, FL.
\ NOperating on a Siemens Biograph 40 PET/CT scanner , you will work as part of a collaborative two-technologist team, independently driving the CT imaging workflow. The clinic runs at a steady pace, averaging approximately 15 to 20 diagnostic scans per day. We are looking for a skilled technologist who can hit the ground running with minimal to no training and deliver exceptional, compassionate care to oncology patients.

KeyResponsibilities

Diagnostic Imaging: Independently perform high-quality CT procedures on a Siemens Biograph 40 PET/CT unit, maintaining efficiency across a daily volume of 15–20 oncology scans.
\ N Workflow & TeamCollaboration: Partner closely with a co-technologist (covering PET/CT workflows) to optimize scanner utilization, manage patient scheduling, and ensure smooth daily operations.
\ N Patient Care & Safety: Prepare patients for procedures, verify medical histories, explain scanning steps, administer IV contrast safely, and uphold ALARA radiation safety principles.
\ N Clinic Operations: Maintain accurate imaging documentation, ensure proper equipment calibration/care, and keep a safe, sterile outpatient imaging environment.

Qualification Requirements
\ N
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of direct, hands-on CT imaging experience.
\ N Licensure: Valid Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
\ N Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
\ N Capability: Proven ability to operate independently on day one with zero to minimal onboarding time.

Certifications: ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications highly preferred.
\ N Clinical Background: Prior experience in an Oncology/Cancer Care setting is strongly desired.

Predictable Day Schedule: Standard Monday through Friday day shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) with no nights, weekend shifts, or on-call obligations.
\ N Updated Travel Compensation: Earn up to $2,535 weekly gross ($2,200–$2,535/week range for travelers with a $1,575 tax-free stipend) or $55/hr for local candidates.
\ N Dedicated Team Setup: Work alongside an experienced PET technologist on a dual-capability scanner within a supportive, specialized outpatient environment.
