Job description
Perform high-quality CT imaging following department protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Operate imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques to optimize diagnostic results while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
Maintain and disinfect equipment and rooms, report issues promptly, and support infection control.
Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification before exams.
Explain procedures using AIDET, address patient questions, and reduce anxiety.
Administer contrast agents via venipuncture, position patients correctly, and apply shielding and immobilization as needed.
Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat/correct images if necessary, and document accurately in RIS/PACS.
Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with life-support equipment.
Coordinate workflows, support departmental operations, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
At least 1 year of radiology experience.
Certifications in ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS (American Heart Association).
Skills & Attributes

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail in documentation and image review.
