Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.
Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.
To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging, including general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.
Day‑to‑day Duties
Maneuvering equipment and patients; providing basic patient care; submitting accurate and timely imaging, patient history documentation, and case charges.
Supporting the department’s initiatives related to patient and employee satisfaction.
Performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, initiative, and ingenuity in order to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
Being accountable for keeping your skills current and continuing your own professional development and education (including attending department meetings, learning from radiologists, and staying informed about CHI Franciscan standards, protocols and procedures related to the CT function).
Performing quality assurance audits and activities as well as incidental office duties as needed to ensure timely and complete patient records and a highly functioning department and team.
Job Requirements
Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology (including coursework in cross‑sectional anatomy and/or demonstrated skill/knowledge in cross‑sectional anatomy), upon hire.
One year of work experience in the senior level of the core job family, or any combination of experience or education that would demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire.
Basic Life Support – CPR, upon hire.
Medical Radiographer: WA, upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
One year of work experience as a CT Technologist.
Pay Range
$44.12 – $69.82 /hour
