CT Technologist (Part-Time Nights)
Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist ED Silverleaf in St. Augustine, Florida. This is a Part-Time Nights position working shifts of 6:30pm-7:00am, with flexible scheduling. Participation in the on-call and holiday rotation is required. Eligible for up to $3,000 Sign On Bonus, if hired!
Responsibilities
Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures, which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Performing high-quality (CT) procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.
Requirements
CT Technologist, CT Department, Experience;
1-2 Years Radiology Technologist Experience
Customer Service Experience
Experience Working in a Hospital Setting
