Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist Nassau in Fernandina Beach, Florida. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity.
At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high-quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.
As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for:
Performing high-quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.
CT Technologist, CT Department, Experience;
Customer Service Experience
Experience Working in a Hospital Setting
If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARDMS or ARRT (CT) within 18 months of hire date.
Positions designated as requiring a level II Background (A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
