Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida.
This is a full-time opportunity. At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensuring both the comfort and safety of patients, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities include operating and calibrating GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast and patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
As a CT Technologist, You Will Be Responsible For
Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.
Preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures.
Monitoring patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
Operating CT equipment and ensuring proper maintenance.
Collaborating with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation of procedures.
Adhering to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
Educating patients on the CT process and answering any patient questions.
Qualifications
1-2 Years Radiology Technologist Experience
Customer Service Experience
Experience Working in a Hospital Setting
If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARDMS or ARRT (CT) within 18 months of hire date.
Positions requiring a level II Background (detailed fingerprint‑based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
