Position: CT Technologist II
Location: Evanston Hospital
Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
Hours: M - F 2:30pm - 11 pm
On Call: Yes
Required Travel: No
What You Will Do
Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures.
Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort.
Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner.
Review CT scans to ensure optimum quality.
What You Will Need
Education: Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program.
Certification: CPR Certification required; Advanced CT Certification required.
Experience: Previous CT Technologist experience – at least 5 years preferred.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required.
