Responsibilities
Perform high quality radiologic CT exams on incoming patients.
Monitor patient's well‑being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
Guide patients through this sometimes‑difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures.
Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
Safeguard any onsite medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information onsite or in patient portals.
Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
You Are
Genuinely passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement with the ability to remain professional in all situations.
Able to demonstrate effective, professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests & colleagues.
Able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, have a knack for prioritizing work with a structured approach, and enjoy solving complex problems.
To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT).
BLS certification depending on state regulations.
At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.
