Role Overview
The CT Technologist performs advanced CT examinations following physician orders, utilizing sophisticated imaging equipment while considering patient-specific needs.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CT machinery to produce high-quality images, apply sound judgment regarding imaging techniques, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver accurate diagnostic results and adhere to safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
Must meet certification, licensing, or registration requirements, including Oregon Medical Imaging License, BLS certification, and appropriate registry credentials (e.g., Radiologic Technologist, Nuclear Medicine, or Computed Tomography). Ability to utilize knowledge of imaging factors and patient care standards.
