Job description
This position is for a Full-Time CT Advanced Modality Radiology Technologist (Nights) responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in computed tomography (CT), on adult and pediatric patients. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, executing studies independently, and ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
Performing advanced imaging procedures, including CT scans, independently and in on-call situations
Preparing patients and equipment for procedures
Ensuring quality control and accuracy in imaging
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency
Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or CT
Preferred experience of 2+ years in radiology or related imaging fields
Licenses such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES, and specific certifications like IEMA (Illinois only)
Skills & Requirements
Knowledge of advanced imaging modalities like CT, MRI, or interventional procedures
Ability to work independently and handle portable exams and on-call scenarios
CPR and IV therapy certifications preferred
