Role Overview
This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as CT, primarily during overnight shifts. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts studies independently, and may handle portable exams and on-call situations. The role requires certification as a Radiologic Technologist in radiography and/or CT, with preference given to those with at least two years of experience and relevant licenses, including CPR and IV therapy certifications.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
Perform diagnostic studies independently, including portable and on-call exams.
Ensure quality control and proper operation of imaging equipment.
Qualifications & Skills
Associate's Degree or equivalent trade school education.
Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or CT.
Experience in CT, radiology, or medical imaging is preferred.
Licensing and certifications such as IEMA, RTR, CT, MRI, and CPR are required or preferred.
