Job description
Role: Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) responsible for producing high-quality CT scans and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
Performing diagnostic imaging procedures following department protocols and ensuring patient safety.
Operating HIS, RIS, PACS systems to order, monitor, validate images, and complete studies.
Organizing patient information, reports, and images for interpretation.
Interviewing patients, explaining procedures, and assisting throughout the imaging process.
Using power injector systems and demonstrating proper radiation safety practices.
Identifying patients accurately using two identifiers and delivering patient-centered care.
Recognizing normal and abnormal images, reporting findings appropriately.
Maintaining equipment functionality, documenting issues, and managing supplies.
Assisting with supply and linen rotation as needed.
Qualifications
Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology Program.
ARRT registration in Radiology; CT registration within 1 year of hire.
Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred minimum of 1 year of CT experience.
Proficient with computer operations and data entry.
