Job description
The CT Technologist performs a variety of CAT Scan procedures, prioritizing patient care and quality.
Responsibilities
positioning patients
preparing equipment
administering contrast agents under radiologist supervision
ensuring radiation safety
operating imaging equipment
maintaining supplies
troubleshooting
ensuring quality control of scans
handling patient scheduling
documenting procedures
assisting in training student technologists
Requirements
The role requires a high school diploma, graduation from an accredited radiography program, ARRT or CRT certification, and a New Jersey license.
Preferred
Preferred candidates have at least three years of hospital experience and can work independently.
Skills
Skills include patient positioning, radiation safety, contrast administration, computer system proficiency, and team collaboration.
