Job description
Wake Radiology UNC REX Healthcare is seeking a certified CT Technologist to perform CT procedures at our Raleigh and surrounding area locations.
Responsibilities:
Perform CT exams according to established protocols and safety standards.
Prepare, position, and communicate with patients throughout procedures.
Ensure high-quality images and properly process images for radiologist review.
Assist radiologists and other team members as needed.
Perform quality control checks and maintain equipment/service records.
Provide excellent patient care while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Recognize and report unusual findings, equipment issues, or safety concerns.
Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Requirements:
Associate or two-year degree in Radiography.
Current ARRT registration and CT certification .
Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs. and assist with patient positioning.
Ability to work at other Wake Radiology locations as needed.
