Role Overview
The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in computed tomography (CT), to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
Perform studies independently, including on-call, portable exams, and other site-specific tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
Associate degree or trade school equivalent.
Certifications such as RTR, CT, or MR, with additional licenses like IEMA (Illinois) preferred.
Preferred less than 2 years of experience; no supervision experience required.
CPR and intravenous therapy certifications are advantageous.
