Job description
Role Overview
Performs technical and patient care procedures using a multi-slice CT scanner, including starting IVs, administering contrast, and utilizing power injectors and monitoring equipment. Provides exceptional customer service and collaborates within a team to ensure positive patient outcomes. Utilizes radiology technology experience in diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy work.
Qualifications & Skills
Completion of a formal radiologic technology program.
Washington Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
ARRT Radiography registration upon hire.
Within one year, obtain CT Technologist certification or Nuclear Medicine certification.
Preferred: 2+ years of radiologic technologist experience, with at least one year in a CT department.
Key Responsibilities
Operate multi-slice CT scanners independently.
Administer contrast agents following physician instructions.
Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality care.
