Role Overview
The CT Technologist performs technical and patient care procedures using a multi-slice CT scanner, including starting IVs, administering contrast, and monitoring equipment. They utilize independent judgment to conduct diagnostic imaging, ensuring exemplary customer service and collaborating within a team. The role involves applying radiology experience in diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy work.
Qualifications & Skills
Completion of a radiologic technology program
Washington Radiologic Technologist certification
American Heart Association BLS certification
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
Within one year: CT or Nuclear Medicine certification
Preferred Experience
Two years as a Radiologic Technologist, with at least one year in a CT department.
Key Duties
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures independently
Administer contrast agents and monitor patient responses
Provide compassionate patient care and excellent customer service
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality imaging
Additional Information
The position is on-site with a pay range of $52.54 - $79.89 per hour, with potential additional compensation options.
