Job description
Role Overview
The CT Technologist performs cross-sectional imaging using CT scanners to produce detailed internal images for diagnostic purposes. Under the guidance of department leadership and radiologists, they execute all phases of imaging procedures, ensuring quality and patient safety.
Responsibilities Include
Operating CT equipment to capture high-quality images
Following established protocols and safety guidelines
Collaborating with medical team for accurate diagnosis
Maintaining equipment and documentation
Qualifications & Skills
Completion of an accredited radiologic training program
Washington Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Registered in Radiography with ARRT
Within 1 year, certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT or NMTCB)
Minimum 6 months CT scanning experience as an ARRT(R) technologist
Preferred Skills
One year of CT scanning experience as an ARRT(R)(CT) technologist
