\ NWeekly Pay Range: $2,575 - $2,695 / week

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and highly dependable CT / X-Ray Cross-Trained Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Sharon, PA. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered diagnostic imaging across both Computed Tomography (CT) and General Radiography (X-Ray) modalities.

This position operates in an acute care setting servicing ER and Inpatient populations (no scheduled outpatient procedures after 3:30 PM). KeyResponsibilities
\ N Dual-Modality Imaging & Patient Care:
\ N Perform diagnostic CT and general X-Ray procedures following facility policies, ensuring consistent, compassionate, and ethically sound care.
\ N Direct and position patients accurately using age-appropriate communication.
\ N Conduct chart reviews, visually assess patient condition, and promptly escalate changes to nursing or medical staff.
\ N
Shift Operations & Specialty Workflows:
\ N Operate primary diagnostic imaging for evening, night, or weekend shifts with independent/solo coverage.
\ N Execute specialized acute care protocols, including CT Head and CT Angio Head/Neck for Stroke Center evaluations and trauma imaging.
\ N
Technical & System Operations:
\ N Initiate scans and exposures using appropriate scan parameters and patient demographics.
\ N Process and transfer images via PACS (Infinit ) and teleradiology/tele-neurology portals (Nuance PowerShare , USA RAD , Access TeleCare ).
\ N Document exam details (EDEs) and patient logs accurately in MEDITECH .
\ N Safety & Department Maintenance:
\ N Practice strict radiation safety and shielding protocols, including LMP/pregnancy screening.
\ N Perform daily equipmentQuality Control (QC) on CT and X-Ray systems;
report any deficiencies.
\ N Complete daily operational checks (crash cart, defibrillator, medication fridge temperatures) and assist with department stock.

Schedule & Shift Options
\ N Duration: 13-Week Contract
\ N Shift Options (Choose One) :
\ N Shift 1: Friday – Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-Hour Shifts)
\ N Shift 2: Monday – Thursday | 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (10-Hour Night Shifts)
\ N Shift 3: Monday – Thursday | 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM (10-Hour Evening Shifts)
\ N Patient Population: ER & Inpatients only after 3:30 PM (low-to-moderate volume: ~30–40 ER patients total per 24 hours across modalities).
\ N Staffing Level: 1 Technologist per shift.
\ N Operating Room (OR): None required (OR/C-arm work is handled by daytime staff).

Required:
\ N
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (High School Diploma / GED required).
\ N Certifications:
\ N Active ARRT (R) certification.
\ N Active BLS / CPR certification.
\ N Clinical Experience:
\ N Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in both CT and General X-Ray modalities.
\ N Ability to independently operate Philips CT equipment (e.G., Philips Ingenuity) and digital/portable X-Ray systems.
\ N Hands-on competency with emergency room, trauma, and stroke protocol imaging.
\ N Experience with EMR systems (MEDITECH preferred) and PACS workflows.

Preferred:
\ N Active ARRT (CT) registration (Candidates fully competent and cross-trained in CT without formal registry will also be considered) .
\ N Prior healthcare travel/contract experience with fast onboarding.
\ N Experience with InfinitPACS, Nuance PowerShare, or MEDITECH.
