CTHCA Dental AssistantKeller - WAOverviewSalary Range $27.16 - $33.08 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift DayDescriptionPOSITION: Dental Assistant (Certified)SALARY: $27.16 - $33.08/hr DOEREPORTS TO: Lead Dental AssistantLOCATION: San Poil Valley Health Center - Keller, WASummary:The Dental Assistant for the Colville Tribal Healthcare Authority provides responsive, high quality dental care services that meet the needs of all users at their assigned location. The Dental Assistant will perform their job duties in a professional manner while assuring that all the needs of the patients are met with a pleasant demeanor. The Dental Assistant works closely with dentists and other dental staff to provide efficient and compassionate patient care and to maintain a clean, safe, and organized dental environment.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is requiredCompletion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent education and training preferredCurrent Dental Assistant certification/registration or other credentials as required by applicable regulations and organizational requirementsHIPAA and Privacy training within 90 days of employmentBlood borne pathogen training annuallyCPR/First Aid within initial 90 (ninety) days of hireAbility to understand, speak, communicate and read the English languageAbility to utilize RPMS and EHR proficientlyKnowledge of dental terminology, instruments, equipment, procedures, and infection control practicesNote: Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing. In addition, this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing.TRIBAL MEMBER AND INDIAN PREFERENCE WILL APPLY; PREFERENCE WILL ALSO BE GIVEN TO HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS WHO ARE MINIMALLY QUALIFIED.If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver's license and be eligible for the Tribes' Vehicle Insurance. In addition, this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
