CTHCA EMT/EFF I - BV-48817Reservation Wide - WAOverviewSalary Range $20.34 - $20.34 HourlyDescriptionCLOSING DATE: Open Continuously with weekly reviewsPOSITION: Short Notice EMT/ Firefighter ISALARY: $20.34, per hourREPORTS TO: Fire ChiefLOCATION: Inchelium/ Nespelem, WABasic Functions: This is an nonexempt position. Short Notice position is an on-call role, and applicants must be prepared to report to work within one hour of receiving notification. EMTs respond to medical emergencies; provide patient care, support and evaluation in a pre-hospital setting, on scene and during transport to the hospital. This generally includes assessing the patient, determining the proper emergency care and administers treatment. Firefighter I performs explicit general duty firefighting, rescue, and responds to emergency calls to protect life and property. Participates in fire prevention activities that include, but are not limited to, and public safety education, emergency medical services and education programs such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation
