Job description
Animal Caretaker PositionAnimal caretakers are responsible for attending to and caring for pigs in our pork production facilities. Training is provided on the job; related experience is not necessary.About Seaboard FoodsAt Seaboard Foods, we produce the most requested pork. This ensures the well-being of our animals, the environment, our employees, and the communities we call home.ResponsibilitiesMonitoring feed quality and water supply.Monitoring barn environments and ventilation systems.Treating and vaccinating sick animals as needed.The breeding sows (if placed in the sow farm)Processing piglets (if placed in the sow farm)Loading and unloading pigs as scheduled.Maintaining farm cleanlinessRequirementsNo education or experience required.Basic math skillsFlexible and able to work assigned weekends (Saturday/Sunday)Bilingual in English and Spanish, but not mandatoryMust be able to work in the farm environment.Seaboard Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
