Custodial Lead - 3rd ShiftCleans institutional facilities, removes waste and recycling, and monitors building security to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in assigned areas. Leads the custodial work of others and responds to custodial emergencies. This is a 3rd shift position, the days/hours are Sunday – Thursday, 10pm – 6:30am.Key Job Responsibilities:Schedules, monitors, and communicates with staff and assists with basic trainingMonitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances and reports issues to appropriate entitiesResponds to facility emergency and hazardous situations, and escalates incidents according to established policies and proceduresMaintains organization of supply areas and equipment, documents inventory, and requests additional supplies as neededDocuments and reports repairs, violations, and pest control needsMaintains clean and clear walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and iceUtilizes basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclablesDepartment:Facilities Management Custodial DepartmentCompensation:$19.00/hourRequired Qualifications:Utilizes basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclablesMonitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances and reports issues to appropriate entitiesMaintains organization of supply areas and equipment, documents inventory, and requests additional supplies as neededDocuments and reports repairs, violations, and pest control needsMaintains clean and clear walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and iceSchedules, monitors, and communicates with staff and assists with basic trainingResponds to facility emergency and hazardous situations, and escalates incidents according to established policies and proceduresLegal Notices and Important InformationEmployment will require a criminal background check in accordance with the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act.
