As a Custodial Services worker on our team, you'll take on the important job of keeping our operations and locations clean, so that our customers can stay happy and healthy. The best part? It's just the starting point of your career!Location: Kansas City Convention Center, work hours are varied; we have a number of open shifts. Day shift is 7am-5:30pm and night shift is 2pm-12:30am. Work week is 4 10-hour shifts.Job ResponsibilitiesAdheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulationsMaintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of othersAccurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipmentCleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirementsFollows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areasReports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnelSecures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as requiredEnsures security of company assetsQualificationsPrevious custodial experience preferred. Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals. Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers. Adaptable to guests' needs. This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
