Cusdial Services WorkerJoin Aramark as a Custodial Services Worker at Lake Forest College and build a rewarding career in facilities cleaning and maintenance. In this role, you'll keep academic and residential spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for students, faculty, and staff — combining hands-on cleaning, safety compliance, and equipment care with the customer service skills that open doors to advancement across Aramark's facilities services team.This is year-round, full-time work performing academic and residential facilities cleaning at Lake Forest College — including daily cleaning and sanitizing, safe handling and disposal of trash, custodial equipment maintenance, and building security, all in accordance with OSHA and Aramark safety standards.We currently have full-time, Monday through Friday openings, with shift options starting as early as 4:30 a.m.: 4:30 a.m.–1 p.m., 5 a.m.–1:30 p.m., 5:30 a.m.–2 p.m., or 6 a.m.–2:30 p.m.Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $15.50. Additional benefits may include retirement savings plans like 401(k) and paid days off such as parental leave and disability coverage.Job Responsibilities:Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulationsMaintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of othersAccurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipmentCleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirementsFollows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areasReports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnelSecures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as requiredEnsures security of company assetsQualifications:Previous custodial experience preferredAble to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicalsMaintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workersAdaptable to guests' needsThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
