Custodial Worker 1Join the Department of Transportation as a Custodial Worker 1 and make a direct impact on the upkeep of public facilities! This job provides meaningful work that helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. You will support daily activities by caring for the office and grounds throughout the year. This role offers a chance to take ownership of important tasks that benefit coworkers and the community.This position focuses on maintaining the Clearfield County Maintenance Office and its surrounding grounds to ensure a clean and safe environment. As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:Indoor Cleaning: Clean floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures using routine manual methodsRestroom Care: Clean restrooms and replace needed suppliesGrounds Maintenance: Maintain outside areas by mowing grass, clearing snow, and sweeping walkwaysWaste Disposal: Dispose of waste paper and building trash in the correct mannerMinor Repairs: Make small repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, and building featuresDaily Communication: Communicate with supervisors and coworkers to complete assigned tasksWork Schedule and Additional Information:Seasonal, full-time employmentWork hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Work hours will vary with this position as schedule is irregular and rotating.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
