Custodian / Janitorial WorkerLocation: Columbia, South Carolina & Surrounding AreasFull-Time | $14.49/hourWhy Work With Us?We are seeking reliable and hardworking Custodial Workers to join a local team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and organized environments. The right candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and experience with cleaning, maintenance, or custodial duties.What You’ll Do:As a Custodial Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment through routine cleaning, sanitizing, and general upkeep. This role requires someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing physical tasks throughout the workday.Your Day-to-Day:Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, restrooms, common areas, and other assigned spacesSweep, vacuum, mop, and maintain floorsEmpty trash and replace linersClean and sanitize surfacesRestock supplies such as paper products and soapClean windows, walls, and other areas as neededSet up rooms, tables, and chairs for eventsPerform general upkeep and light maintenance tasksAssist with moving furniture and equipment when neededOperate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor machines, and other toolsFollow all safety procedures and company guidelinesMaintain a clean and organized work areaWhat We’re Looking For:Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or industrial cleaning experience preferredStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently and complete assigned tasksReliable attendance and strong work ethicAbility to follow instructions and safety proceduresComfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing physical tasksAbility to communicate professionally with supervisors and team membersRequirements:Must be able to pass a background checkMust have reliable transportationMust be able to perform physical duties, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items as neededPrevious cleaning or maintenance experience preferredWe are excited to speak with you about your future — please apply to the right and we will be in contact with you ASAP!
