About This JobOffice of Motor is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Custodian in Minden, LA. This role is responsible for performing advanced custodial duties and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual with strong attention to detail and a commitment to supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the center community.Minimum QualificationsNo experience or training required.Job SpecificationThe official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here.Job Duties And Other InformationJob Duties:Cleans bathrooms, offices, hallways, and any other assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing.Empties and decontaminates trash containers; may assist in disposing of infectious waste.Moves, rearranges, and dusts furniture and fixtures.Learns to mix or blend cleaning solutions to proper concentrations as necessary for various tasks.Position-Specific Details:Appointment Type: Classified WAE (not to exceed 1,245 hours in a 12-month period)Work Schedule: 20 hours a weekCompensation: $10.00 per hourLouisiana is a State As A Model Employer (SAME) that supports the recruitment, hiring, and retention of individuals with disabilities.How To Apply: No Civil Service test score is required to be considered for this vacancy.
