Custodian 1 | WSU Tri-Cities (Richland, WA)WSU Tri-Cities is seeking a Custodian 1 to help maintain welcoming, clean, safe, and well-prepared facilities for students, employees, campus partners, and visitors. In this role, you will perform routine custodial and housekeeping duties within assigned campus areas, using established schedules and procedures to care for classrooms, offices, common areas, laboratories, restrooms, floors, furnishings, and equipment. You will also set up and take down furnishings and equipment for campus events, respond to assigned custodial requests, maintain custodial tools and supply areas, and participate in campus emergency response activities as needed. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, eight-hour shifts between 6:00 AM and 2:30 PM. Occasional later shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, as well as occasional weekend work, may be required to support campus events.Schedule changes will be communicated in advance and made in accordance with policy.Percentage Breakdown of Job Functions:Floor Care - 35%Custodial - 30%Restroom Care - 20%Event Set-up - 10%Other Duties as Assigned - 5%This is a full-time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible. This position works on-site at the WSU Tri-Cities campus in Richland, WA.Monthly Salary: $3,195.00 to $4,201.00 | Range 34 | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28. In accordance with RCW , the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position.
