CustodianChisago Lakes School District 2144 is currently seeking applicants for a full time Custodian - 2nd Shift position. The role requires public interaction and customer service experience. Offers of employment will be made contingent upon passing a pre-employment physical.Job Goal: Perform general cleaning and maintenance to provide pleasant and safe surroundings for students and staff.Performance Responsibilities:Conducts general cleaning for assigned areas within the building.Removes snow and clears assigned entries into school.Participates in non-major repairs of furniture or equipment.Performs ground maintenance duties such as mowing and similar tasks.Performs other tasks as directed.Maintain confidentiality as per mandated data privacy laws.Other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements:Hearing and speaking to exchange informationSeeing to perform assigned dutiesDexterity of hands and fingers to operate equipmentAbility to bend, crouch, twist, reach, kneel, crawl, and balance during building maintenance activitiesPushing, pulling equipment that exceeds 100 pounds or lifting heavy equipment or supplies (up to 50 pounds)Climbing stairs/laddersWalking, standing or sitting for extended periods of timeOperating assigned equipmentExposure to air contaminants, confined work spaces, dirt, electrical hazards, temperature extremes, noise, toxic materials and vibrations.Terms of Employment: Salary and work year to be established by the Board of Education.Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of non-certified personnel.
