Job description
Custodial MaintenanceKeeps the school building and school offices in clean and orderly condition providing a clean, safe and functional building.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:Sweeps, mops, scrubs, wax, dust and vacuums assigned area(s) on a prescribed schedule.Scrubs and disinfects toilet doors, urinals, toilet bowls, and other fixtures daily including water bottle fillers and drinking fountains and garbage containers.Empty trash and garbage containers daily or more often, if necessary.Responds to accidents and potential safety hazards such as spills and restroom issues.Notifies school officials concerning the need for repairs throughout the building.Maintains the appearance of the outside of the building through picking up trash, mowing, etc.Maintains safe, clean and organized custodial storage areas.Education and/or ExperienceGED or high school diplomaOr related experience or trainingOr equivalent combination of education and experience
