CustodianWe're looking for a Custodian for our AM shift by assisting the company with maintaining a clean, organized, functional, and secure building.This position is based in our Jersey City, NJ office and will report to the Senior Workplace Manager. The 1st shift schedule is Tuesday through Saturday from 6am-2:30pm.Onsite Requirement:This role requires you to be onsite in the office 5 days per week.What You'll Do:Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies.Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasksAssist in setup and breakdown of events and meetingsWork with Facilities, Workplace, and Operations to ensure office needs are metRespond to tickets and requests from other departmentsBe able to read chemical SDS (SAFETY DATA SHEET)Other duties as assignedWho You Are:Custodial experience preferred but not requiredCan prioritize tasks given during scheduled work shiftBe detail-oriented with evaluating inventory of suppliesHave a strong attention to detail with custodial tasks including cleanliness and sanitation practicesFlexibility to adjust to schedule/requirement changes.Physical Requirements:Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time.Hand Use: Regular hand use for various tasks.Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions.Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 25 pounds.Phone Answering: Talking on the phone and texting may be required, as well as manual dexterity to operate a computer and phone system efficiently.Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.Hourly Rate: The reasonable estimated hourly rate for this position is $19.
