Job description
Janitorial Cleaning ServicesKey ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, classrooms, hallways, and common areas.Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floorsEmpty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.Dust furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and other surfacesClean windows, mirrors, and glass partitions.Replenish restroom and facility supplies, including soap, paper towels and toilet paperReport maintenance issues, safety hazards, and equipment malfunctions to supervisorsPerform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and replacing air filters when needed.Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools safety.Follow established safety procedures and cleaning standardsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredRequired previous custodial, janitorial, or cleaning experienceAbility to follow instructions and work independentlyKnowledge of cleaning methods, products, and equipmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanlinessReliable attendance and punctualityPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 poundsComfortable using cleaning chemicals and equipment safetySkills and CompetenciesTime management and organizational skillsDependability and accountabilityGood communication skillsAbility to prioritize task and meet schedulesCommitment to workplace safety and customer serviceWork ScheduleFull-timeMay require evenings, weekends, or emergency call-in work depending on facility needs.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
