CustodianTo maintain and clean school buildings that provide staff and students with an environment that is conducive for teaching and learning.Qualifications-Required:High School Diploma or equivalentBlack Seal Boiler LicenseAbility to speak and understand EnglishExcellent work ethicAbility to follow directionsAbility to work alone or with othersAbility to pass the required Criminal History ReviewAble to submit the Sexual Misconduct/Child Abuse Disclosure FormAble to pass pre-employment physical examQualifications-Desired:Experience working in a school districtDuties/Responsibilities:Performs tasks as directed by the BCF and/or Supervisor of CustodiansCompletes tasks in the time frame provided by the BCFWorks in assigned area as directedWorks with others as directedFollows all cleaning directions as provided by BCF and/or Supervisor of CustodiansWorking Conditions:School Building12-Month, Full-TimeProrated Salary Range of $43,028 (Step 2) to $54,520 (Step 10) based on school experienceShift Differential after 6:00 pmMedical and Dental BenefitsPhysical Requirements:Able to lift at least 50 lbs above the waistAble to raise arms over head to cleanAble to climb laddersAble to swing arms in order to mop floorsAble to walk up/down stairsAble to bend at the waist and knees to cleanAble to stand for long periods of timeAble to shovel snow, when necessaryAble to work with school approved cleaning fluidsDirect Reports: N/AEgg Harbor Township Board of Education is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer
