Job TitleMaintains a clean, safe, and orderly facility by performing daily cleaning, minor repairs, and upkeep of the building, shop, and grounds; ensuring equipment and supplies are organized and ready for use; supporting the team with general facility needs as they arise.What We Offer:Health, dental, vision and more401k retirementPaid Vacation and HolidaysVoluntary Disability insuranceOpportunity for internal promotion and career growth with companyCompetitive pay: $15.00/hourResponsibilitiesMaintains a clean facility by removing trash, sweeping, mopping, and operating an automatic floor cleaning machine throughout the building and shop areas.Keeps exterior and shop areas presentable by pressure washing surfaces, removing tires and scrap metal, and transporting waste to the garbage dump for disposal.Maintains sanitary restrooms and common areas by cleaning bathrooms and countertops on a regular schedule.Prepares scrap metal and recyclable materials for pickup by sorting and staging items for recycling.Supports facility safety by performing monthly safety inspections and reporting or completing minor repairs as needed.Keeps tools and automotive parts accessible by organizing storage areas and maintaining inventory order.Supports daily operations by running errands and completing other facility-related tasks as assigned.Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.RequirementsPrevious custodial, janitorial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred.Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Comfortable operating cleaning equipment such as pressure washers and automatic floor scrubbers.Reliable, self-directed, and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision.Basic mechanical aptitude for minor repairs.Parks Toyota of DeLand is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
