Job description
ResponsibilitiesKeep building cleanProvide routine cleaning, sanitation and general upkeepClean, dust furniture, sweep, mop or vacuum floorsEmpty/clean wastebaskets, trash containers, pick up recycled paper, replace light bulbs, and refill restroom dispensers.Perform cleaning and related activities such as removing snow and debris from sidewalksKeep inventory of all cleaning supplies and inform Office ManagerPrepare all meeting rooms and set up for programs, as directedClean glass doors and windowsClean gym floor as neededFollow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Use as directed.Follow building sanitation proceduresClean bathrooms dailyVacuum chapel weekly or as needed. Dust furnishings weeklyClean kitchen as needed and instructedMove furniture, equipment and tools, as needed Open all locked offices to be cleaned, shut off coffee pots.Perform other related duties within the scope of the position.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentAble to lift up to 35 poundsExperience in or ability to learn general building maintenance.Flexibility and a cooperative spirit are crucial characteristics of the individual who holds this important position
