Evening CustodianPart-time work as an Evening Custodian at the Y offers flexible hours with meaningful impact on your community.The Ann Arbor YMCA is seeking reliable and detail-oriented evening custodians to join our team. As a custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.Essential functions include:Maintaining positive relationships with staff and members in a child-friendly environment.Maintaining a positive and professional attitude when interacting with customers.Working closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.Dusting and wiping down surfaces.Emptying trash and recycling bins.Restocking supplies as needed.Notifying management of any maintenance or repair needs.Landscaping and snow removal.Assisting the Facilities Director with outside contractors and vendors.Following all safety procedures and guidelines.Part-time 25 hours/week; 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.Our culture:Every day and in everything we do, we strive to create a culture that is welcoming, genuine, hopeful, nurturing, and determined for all our staff, members, program participants, and volunteers.We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
